About Us

History of the Journal of Accounting Profession (JAP)

Thammasat Business School, Thammasat University, has a policy to create the "Journal of Accounting Profession - (JAP)" with the objective of disseminating accounting knowledge along with presenting relevant accounting social issues and problems, as well as clear details and guidelines for operations. In line with the phrase "If English is the universal language of the world, accounting is the universal language of the business world," the inaugural edition was published in 2005.

The aim and scope of the Journal of Accounting Profession can be both in Thai and English articles, which are divided into three main sections: research articles, academic articles for accountancy development, and book review. In addition, in some editions, special articles may be added according to the situation or stories of important persons in accounting at that time, auditors, internal auditors, undergraduate to Ph.D. students in accounting, as well as faculty practitioners who teach accounting subjects and general interests.

Objective

1. To present professional, social, and business-related issues as well as operational guidelines in accounting, finance, accounting for executives, auditors, internal auditors, tax accounting, and teaching professionals in accounting.
    
2. To provide academic services to society in various ways, being a center for disseminating stories about the accounting profession and serving as a medium for exchanging opinions and experiences between faculty, academics, administrators, accounting students, and the public interested in general accounting.
    

Publication Period and ISSN Number of the Journal

The Journal of Accounting Profession is a 3-month academic journal (4 issues per year) issued in March, June, September, and December of every year.
(From 2005 to 2016, it was originally a 4-month academic journal (3 issues per year), scheduled to be released in April, August, and December.)
The current International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) is E-ISSN 2774-0161 (online) (formerly ISSN 1686-8293 (print)).

ความเป็นมาของวารสารวิชาชีพบัญชี

คณะพาณิชยศาสตร์และการบัญชี มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ได้มีนโยบายให้ดำเนินการจัดทำ "วารสารวิชาชีพบัญชี" โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเผยแพร่ความรู้ทางด้านการบัญชี พร้อมกับนำเสนอประเด็นและปัญหาทางสังคมบัญชีที่เกี่ยวข้อง รวมทั้งรายละเอียดและแนวทางการปฏิบัติงานที่ชัดเจน ทันสมัย และตรงไปตรงมา เพื่อสอดคล้องกับคำที่ว่า "หากภาษาอังกฤษคือภาษาสากลของโลก การบัญชีคือภาษาสากลของโลกธุรกิจ" โดยฉบับปฐมฤกษ์ได้ตีพิมพ์เผยแพร่ขึ้นเมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2548

เนื้อหาและขอบเขตของวารสารวิชาชีพบัญชี มีทั้งบทความภาษาไทยและภาษาอังกฤษที่แบ่งเป็น 3 ส่วนหลัก ๆ คือ บทความวิจัย บทความวิชาการเพื่อพัฒนาการศึกษาวิชาชีพบัญชี และบทวิจารณ์หนังสือ นอกจากนี้ในบางฉบับ อาจมีการเพิ่มบทความพิเศษ ตามสถานการณ์หรือเรื่องราวที่เกี่ยวกับบุคคลสำคัญด้านการบัญชีในช่วงเวลานั้น ๆ โดยกลุ่มผู้อ่านได้แก่ บุคคลที่เกี่ยวข้องกับแวดวงการบัญชี การเงิน ผู้บริหารทุกระดับ ผู้สอบบัญชี ผู้ตรวจสอบภายใน นักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีถึงปริญญาเอกสาขาการบัญชี ตลอดจนคณาจารย์ผู้ประกอบวิชาชีพการสอนวิชาด้านการบัญชี รวมถึงผู้สนใจทั่วไป
 

วัตถุประสงค์

1. เพื่อนำเสนอประเด็นปัญหาทางวิชาชีพและปัญหาทางสังคมธุรกิจที่เกี่ยวข้อง พร้อมทั้งแนวทางการปฏิบัติงาน ทั้งทางด้านการบัญชี การเงิน การบัญชีสำหรับผู้บริหาร ผู้สอบบัญชี ผู้ตรวจสอบภายใน การบัญชีภาษีอากร และผู้ประกอบอาชีพการสอนด้านวิชาการบัญชี
     
2. เพื่อให้บริการทางวิชาการแก่สังคมในรูปแบบต่าง ๆ ในอันที่จะเป็นศูนย์กลางในการเผยแพร่เรื่องราวเชิงวิชาชีพบัญชี รวมทั้งเป็นสื่อกลางในการแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็น ตลอดจนประสบการณ์ระหว่าง คณาจารย์ นักวิชาการ ผู้บริหาร นักบัญชี นักศึกษา และประชาชนผู้สนใจในด้านการบัญชีทั่วไป
    

กำหนดออก-ช่วงเวลาเผยแพร่ และเลข ISSN ประจำวารสาร

วารสารวิชาชีพบัญชี เป็นวารสารวิชาการราย 3 เดือน (1 ปี มี 4 ฉบับ) กำหนดออกคือ เดือนมีนาคม มิถุนายน กันยายน และธันวาคม ของทุกปี 
(ตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2548 - 2559 เดิมเป็นวารสารวิชาการราย 4 เดือน (1 ปี มี 3 ฉบับ) กำหนดออกคือ เดือนเมษายน สิงหาคม และธันวาคม)
เลขมาตรฐานสากลประจำวารสาร (International Standard Serial Number – ISSN) ในปัจจุบันคือ E-ISSN 2774-0161 (Online) (ในอดีตคือ ISSN 1686-8293 (Print))
